Latest developments of India's second round of urea import tender in 2026

On April 4, India's IPL released a new round of urea import tenders, intending to purchase 1.5 million tons for the west coast and 1 million tons for the east coast. The tender closes on April 15, with validity until April 23 and the latest shipment date of June 14. On April 15, 20 suppliers participated in the tender, offering a total bid volume of approximately 5.9 million tons. The lowest CFR bid for the east coast was $959/ton, and for the west coast, $935/ton.
